Honor Thy Father

Synopsis: Post Pilot episode, very short fic on the order of the Commandments. My first ever fic.
Characters: Toby, Josh, Sam and CJ

Notes: Josh, Toby, Sam and CJ belong to Aaron Sorkin, the Commandments belong to God.

Josh caught up with Toby as they walked back to their offices. "Toby, it's the fifth."

"What?"

"Honor thy father, it's the fifth commandment."

"I was angry," Toby muttered.

"It's the fourth," CJ told them.

"Fifth," Sam agreed with Josh.

"I'm pretty sure...." CJ began.

"Catholics reordered them," Sam told her.

"Or we could have them right and you could have...."

"Don't," Josh smiled.

"So what is the third?" Sam asked.

"Remember the sabbath day," CJ told him.

"That's the fourth," Toby replied. "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain, is the third."

"Okay, I'm going on the internet and looking it up," CJ told them.

"Why?" Josh asked. "There are ten commandments, different faiths have them in different orders, who cares?"

"You should," Toby told him.

"Toby..." Josh sighed.

"Don't start," CJ warned.

"Yeah come on you two," Sam added. "That's how this started."

"What?" Josh asked.

"They only came here because you got into a religious debate with Mary Marsh."

Josh grinned, "Not sure that what she would have called it."
